Rochester’s Newest Indoor Fun Center Is Almost Here
One of the biggest challenges Minnesota parents face is finding fun activities to do with their kids during the long, frigid winter months. When playgrounds are buried under snow and temperatures plummet below zero, "cabin fever" becomes a real struggle.
A Rochester business owner is addressing that local pain point by remodeling an existing space into a premier family fun center, offering various forms of climate-controlled entertainment designed to keep people moving year-round.

Say Goodbye to Boredom: Huge New Family Fun Center Opening in Rochester
Located just a block from St. Mary’s Hospital, Nerdin’ Out is a popular retail store featuring comic books, vintage toys, and pop-culture collectibles. However, the attached space, formerly Battleground Tactical Laser Tag, is currently undergoing a massive transformation.
Brad Vigesaa, the owner, has been sharing regular updates on his Facebook page about the project, expressing how "super excited" he is to create a true destination for local families.
Mini-Golf, Arcades, and Laser Tag: Meet District 507
Rebranded as District 507, the 5,500-square-foot building, located at 1802 2nd St SW in Rochester, will be packed with entertainment options. Don't worry, the high-energy laser tag that fans love isn't going anywhere, but the new venue will also feature an indoor mini-golf course, bazooka ball, interactive darts, and more. It’s a perfect year-round solution for bored kids or the ultimate spot to host a birthday party.
