If stored properly, these little teeth just might save their lives.

Think back to when you were a kid: Nothing was more exciting than losing a tooth and waking up with some money under your pillow from the Tooth Fairy!

But hold on mom and dad!  Doctors are now telling parents to hold on to those baby teeth because they could come in handy later in life.

A study in 2003 found that baby teeth are a rich source of stem cells, which are like protocells that can be grown into multiple kinds of cells if needed.

In layman's terms... that means later in life, if a child needs replacement tissue, the stem cells from their baby teeth can be used to grow it.

The only (and expensive) catch is that you have to pay a company to keep them frozen for you.  The teeth have to be PRESERVED, which you can't do at home in some cute little box.

Still, that's pretty damn awesome if you can afford it right?
