Earlier this month, DoorDash said in a blog, they "became aware of unusual activity involving a third-party service provider." DoorDash has informed the public that a data breach has compromised 4.9 million account information, from customers to delivery workers to restaurants.

If you joined DoorDash prior to April 5th, 2018, your account may have been affected. If you joined after that date, your information is fine. Bring Me the News writes,

The information taken in the hack includes names, email addresses, addresses, order history and phone numbers. What's more, the last four digits of payment cards were taken, but the "full payment card numbers or a CVV was not accessed." ... Delivery workers and merchants had the last four digits of their bank account numbers taken, while 100,000 delivery workers had their driver's license numbers accessed.

If you may have been affected by this data breach, DoorDash is asking that you change your password as an extra precaution.
