Did anyone have this one on their 2020 Bingo card?

Going to Target, getting a coffee and browsing the home decor aisles has been temporarily suspended.

There is a sign taped up to the plexiglass at the east side St. Cloud Target Store stating:

Per state/local mandate, food and drink consumpion is not allowed inside the Target store. We apologize for the inconvience and thank you for understanding.

This temporary rule is in place to keep people from removing face masks or coverings while in the store. The current face mask mandate allows people to remove them in public places while eating and drinking. Actual dining-in at Target Starbucks locations has been suspended since this spring.

How long this will last is unclear, much like everything else COVD-19 related. The mask mandate itself remains in effect until the peacetime emergency declared in Executive Order 20-01 ends or until cancelled by proper authority.

Something tells me it will be a while before we will be able to bring our favorite reusable cup, have it filled with our favorite drink, and casually sip and browse our favorite big box store.
