Dunham’s Sports has set an opening date in Austin, and is celebrating with a weekend full of doorbuster deals, freebies, and grand prize drawings.

The national retailer, which started in 1937 and now operates over 250 locations across 26 states, offers a full-line of sports and outdoor gear. And, shoppers can expect top brands across every department, including Carhartt, Nike, Under Armour, Callaway, Yeti, Blackstone, and Winchester.

When Is Dunham’s Sports Opening in Austin?

Located at 1209 18th Avenue NW, the new Austin store opens its doors on Friday, August 28 at 9:00 AM.

Grand Opening Weekend Schedule

Friday, August 28 (Open 9 AM – 9 PM): The first 150 adults to make a purchase of $19.99 or more will receive a Dunham’s gift card worth up to $250. The first 100 families in line will also get a reusable shopping bag with a 25% off coupon for everything that fits inside (valid Aug. 28–29; restrictions apply)

Saturday, August 29 (Open 8 AM – 9 PM): The first 50 adults in line will score a free Dunham’s Sports t-shirt. The first 100 families will receive the reusable shopping bag and 25% off fill-the-bag coupon.

Sunday, August 30 (Open 9 AM – 7 PM): The first 50 adults in line will receive a free Dunham’s baseball cap.

Regular store hours going forward will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
