Summer camp was one of my favorite things as a kid. So many memories! It didn't matter if it was a day camp or an overnight camp; summer camp was the best.

There are plenty of things that, as an adult, you miss about being a kid. One of those things is definitely summer camp. You don't have to worry about anything else, just the fun that you're going to have.

If you also get a bit nostalgic when talking about summer camp, boy, do I have a surprise for you.

Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center

Eagle Bluff is in Lanesboro. They offer different programs for kids and families. I remember going there as a kid, and it was really cool.

It's "250 acres of restored prairie" with hiking, biking, a high-ropes course, a rock climbing wall, tubing, and more. Of course, there's also a dining hall for overnight camps and places to stay.

Adults-Only Summer Camp at Eagle Bluff in Lanesboro

On Eagle Bluff's website, I randomly discovered that they do an adults-only (21+) summer camp. What a great idea!

It's already coming up next weekend, so it may be too quick to sign up this year, but next year, remember to check this out.

For 2025, it'll be Friday, June 27th, until Tuesday, July 1st.

At adult summer camp, you'll get to do all of these things:

  • High Ropes Course
  • Rock Climbing
  • Shooting Sports
  • River Tubing
  • Camp Games
  • Camp out (optional)
  • A night out in Lanesboro
  • Tasty meals from our Dining Hall
  • Fort and Fire Building

There are also times when adult beverages will be provided if you'd like. They also say that you can bring your own alcoholic beverages if you want, too. It sounds like camp will be during the day, and then you'll go home at night if you'd like; otherwise, there's also the option to camp out.

The camp costs $515, and that includes the activities, food, drinks, and lodging.

This sounds so fun! You can choose to stay with friends or you can go alone and meet new people.
