The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy is set to take over the Historic Chateau Theatre in downtown Rochester this May, offering a blend of dark literature and delicious cocktails. Scheduled for May 22nd and 23rd, the event—dubbed "Chapter Two"—promises an entirely new anthology of chilling tales.

Organizers say that this is a standalone experience, so don't worry if you missed chapter one. Over the course of 90 minutes, guests will enjoy dramatic retellings of four classic stories. Each tale is paired with a specific, handcrafted cocktail designed to mirror the mood of Poe's work.

With numerous positive reviews online, it’s clear this isn't your average night out.
