Discover the beauty of ofrendas and honor loved ones in a shared space of joy and reflection. Enjoy refreshments, creative activities, and cultural experiences. Everyone is invited to come dressed as a Catrín or Catrina to add to the celebration! Your participation will make the event even more special! The Catrina is a very popular symbol on the Day of the Dead that represents death. She emerged during colonial times to mock death and México's socioeconomic status. The Catrina dresses in a very elegant way, with a long dress and a wide hat decorated with flowers or feathers. The Catrín wears a formal suit and is the eternal lover of the Catrina and her party partner in life and in death. Fac es are adorned with colorful makeup to resemble a skeleton.
