Lance Pfimmer Memorial Run 8K Run/1 mile walk

The first annual Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Run will take place on August 10, 2024 at Eagle’s Club in Rochester, MN. The event includes an 8K Run and a 1 Mile Walk. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Scholarship Fund, which supports students who ran track and field and/or cross country in high school with a preference to students who are still running while pursuing a post-secondary degree.
This event and scholarship were created in loving memory of Lance Pfrimmer, who we
lost in a tragic drowning accident in July 2023. His friends & family created this event to
honor his memory and continue his legacy of sportsmanship, positivity, and athleticism.
Our 8K route will feature a loop on the Mayo High School track, where Lance spent many of his days. Both routes will pass by the location of the newly installed memorial bench. Participants will enjoy post-run refreshments and entertainment. There will also be a silent auction and raffle drawing.
