Zumbro Valley Health Center Family Friendly Self Care Event

Zumbro Valley Health Center is hosting a family-friendly event on September 21 centered around self-care. The non-profit works to equip clients with the tools necessary to create a healthy, rewarding life that supports their life goals. The fundraising event will give attendees the opportunity to focus on self-care through wellness-inspired activities.

Proceeds from the event will help Zumbro Valley Health Center continue to provide comprehensive services to those living with mental health and substance use issues throughout southeast Minnesota.

“Self-care is so important, and it’s something that needs to be talked about,” says Beth Krehbiel, CEO of Zumbro Valley Health Center. “Our staff are looking forward to helping people explore the resources available to help support their mental and overall health.”

Attendees of the free event can discover how stress management, healthy food choices, physical activity, yoga, tai chi, essential oils, and additional wellness-inspired activities can help support their mental health. Numerous local community partners will be in attendance such as Orangetheory Fitness, Burn Boot Camp, Exercisabilities, Tonic Juice Bar, and more.

Zumbro Valley Health Center plans to host the Self-Care Saturday fundraising event on September 21 from 9-11am at their main campus in Rochester at 343 Woodlake Dr SE.
