We see rankings all the time of the best this or the best that in each state. A popular one I always see is the best restaurant in each state. Of course, these rankings are based on opinion so the experts can never seem to agree on which restaurant is truly the best in Minnesota.

I pulled results from five different websites that have a list of the best restaurant in each state. As predicted, none of the results for Minnesota's best restaurant were the same. In no particular order, let's see which restaurant each expert picked as being the best in Minnesota.

Business Insider: Spoon and Stable, Minneapolis

Business Insider named Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis the best restaurant in Minnesota. They serve Midwestern food with a French spin and, fun fact, it used to be a horse stable so the name is fitting.

Shermans Travel: Young Joni, Minneapolis

Shermans Travel, on the other hand, named Young Joni in Minneapolis as the best restaurant in the state. Young Joni is run by a James Beard award-winning chef so it definitely makes sense that it would be at least in a list of some of the top restaurants in Minnesota. Their specialty is wood-fired pizza that looks so delicious.

Trip Savvy: Owamni, Minneapolis

This one makes total sense to me. Trip Savvy says that Owamni in Minneapolis is the best in Minnesota. I mean, they have just been named the best new restaurant in the entire country so I trust Trip Savvy on this one. Owamni, in case you haven't heard of them, serves Native American-inspired foods.

The Daily Mail: Matt's Bar, Minneapolis

Something totally different from Owamni is Matt's Bar, which is what The Daily Mail says is the best restaurant in Minnesota. I've been to Matt's Bar, they're home to the original jucy lucy! Their food is so, so good and the menu, from what I remember, is small. They serve jucy lucys, fries, and a few other pub-type foods.

Eat This, Not That: 112 Eatery, Minneapolis

And finally, Eat This, Not That names another different restaurant as the best in Minnesota, and that's 112 Eatery in Minneapolis. Based on their menu, they appear to be an Italian restaurant and the pictures of their food look amazing.

I'm not sure if the fact that they're all in Minneapolis is a coincidence or not but either way, have you tried any of these restaurants? If you have, let me know if you think they deserve to be named the best restaurant in the state. I'd also like to know your favorite restaurant in Rochester, I always love checking out new places! All 37 Minnesota Restaurants that Have Been Featured on the Food Network

Many Minnesota restaurants have been featured on the Food Network over the years. Some have closed now, but I checked out the Food Networks website, the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives website, and TVFoodMaps.com to find all of the Minnesota restaurants that have been featured on their channel in the past and found these 37 (in no particular order) that are still open.
