FANCY LIKE: Walker Hayes Spotted at Minnesota Applebee’s

"Fancy Like" was one of the biggest songs from the summer of 2021. Every radio station was playing it, everyone you know was singing it, and a ton of people tried their best to recreate the dance for social media videos. The song spent several weeks at number 1 on the Hot Country chart, peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and made Walker Hayes a superstar overnight.

Hayes admitted that his sudden newfound fame was almost too much to handle and that he seriously thought about quitting music after the song blew up. His manager convinced him to continue and even provided a sweet tour bus so Walker could bring his family along as he tours the country. That bus recently rolled through Minnesota and the singer was spotted eating inside - you guessed it - an Applebee's.

I'm not sure what Applebee's reps thought of the song when they first heard it, but they certainly cashed in once they saw how popular it was.

The restaurant chain brought back the Oreo Shake which had been discontinued and even featured the song in their commercials.

Walker told Evan Paul with Taste of Country Nights that his family was thrilled to team up with the restaurant chain for their marketing campaign.

Hayes hung out with excited fans, took pictures, and danced along to the song that made him famous and Country 103.5 caught it on camera.
