Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation into a fire fatality in Winona.

According to the Winona Daily News, the fire was reported around 4 AM Monday at a home a couple of blocks from the Winona State University campus. The newspaper says the victim was a man, but his name and age have not been released.

An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s Office was also called to the scene to help search for the cause of the fire.
