Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - A federal grand jury has issued an indictment against a woman from Guatemala who spent 8 years in a Minnesota prison for causing a traffic crash that claimed the lives of four children riding in a school bus.

35-year-old Olga Marina Franco Del-Cid is accused of illegally reentering the United States. She was deported in May 2016 following her release from state prison after serving her sentence for criminal vehicular homicide convictions stemming from the deadly 2008 crash in western Minnesota. Franco del-Cid was driving a vehicle that smashed into the side of a school bus after she sped through a stop sign at a rural intersection near Cottonwood.

The federal indictment charges her with illegal reentry after removal, identification document fraud, and false representation of Social Security account number. Franco del-Cid was arrested last month after it was discovered she was living in the Twin Cities.
