The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says two adults were in the building cutting metal with a chop saw. They suddenly discovered sparks had ignited debris on the floor of the building. They used a fire extinguisher in an effort to put the fire out but it made it worse so they left the building and called 911.

There were no vehicles in the shed, but it did contain a large number of petroleum products and farm equipment. Smoke from the fire was visible from several miles away.

The loss was put at $150,000.
