Racine, MN (KROC-AM News) - Five people, all men over the age of 73, were transported to St. Marys Hospital following a traffic crash yesterday at a rural intersection along Highway 63 in Mower County.

The State Patrol collision occurred around 1:45 PM at the junction of Highway 63 and Highway 16 south of Racine when 91-year-old Herbert Barnhart of Spring Valley attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 63 when his car collided with a small SUV traveling south on Highway 63. The other driver was identified as 88-year-old Roger Reller.

The State Patrol says Barnhart, Reller and three passengers in the SUV, 73-year-old Krachmer of Austin suffered non-life threatening injuries.
