Foo Fighters Cancel All Upcoming Tour Dates, Including Minnesota Show

In the wake of the devastating news that Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins had passed away late last week, the band announced they will be cancelling all of the remaining tour dates on their current schedule.

The band shared the announcement on Tuesday afternoon via their website and social media, expressing disappointment they won't be able to see their fans on the road, but explaining the need to grieve the loss of their long-time bandmate.

The Foo Fighters were on the early leg of a lengthy world tour that included a stop in Minnesota in August of this year.

As you may recall, the band had initially planned on an outdoor show at Huntington Bank Stadium, but made the decision to look for a different venue after a failure to come to an agreement on COVID-19 policies between the band and the venue. They ultimately landed on US Bank Stadium on the originally-scheduled date of August 3.

The heartbreaking news of the passing of Hawkins puts an indefinite hiatus on the band's touring schedule. While it is definitely a bummer for fans that were looking forward to see the band, the move is a very understandable one.
