For Obvious Reasons, This Spa’s Name Goes Viral… Then They Change It

I'm still not sure what they were thinking when they named it this!

I mean sure, your idea was to name it after the Egyptian Goddess Isis - but REALLY?!? C'mon now!

The owners of the spa (formerly known as Isis) in Oakland, California must be living under a GIANT rock right now to think that this was even a good idea in this day and age.

According to their website, their new name is Elyssium Advanced Skin Care, which also originated in Egyptian philosophy and means "A place or condition of ideal happiness". Funny enough, the front of their spa is still featured on the website with the old name... Ummm, maybe you should take that down?

In any case, they sure do love their Egyptian philosophy, huh? What's wrong with naming it Cleopatra or something? Dumb.
