Throughout the whole pandemic, it has been a difficult time for local businesses in our area and across the world. Not as many people are going out which means fewer customers meaning less income for the businesses. So Forager Brewery posted a reminder on their Facebook page earlier today reminding us to support local businesses, especially as we move into winter months.

Winter is most likely going to be a tough time for businesses. Even fewer people will be going out than before (especially if COVID cases continue to go up). But many businesses are offering delivery and takeout, meaning we can still support them safely.

That's exactly what Forager reminds us about on their Facebook post. They write,

Many allow for online ordering, takeout, and weekly meal or art kits so let's continue to stay safe and support our community. #RochesterStrong

So get out there and support our local businesses! And stay safe at the same time! Check their website or give them a call to see if they offer delivery, takeout, curbside pickup, etc. Let's keep our local businesses going strong throughout this winter and the pandemic.

Sadly, we have already lost a few businesses this year because of the pandemic. Take a look at those businesses below.
