Free Family-Friendly Christmas Movies in Rochester, Where You Can Watch

🎶 It's the most wonderful time of the year! 🎶 It's the holiday season and there are so many great holiday movies that we can watch this time of year! And here in Rochester, Minnesota, there's a spot where we can catch family-friendly Christmas movies for free on the big screen!

Which holiday movie is your favorite? It's so hard to pick just one but one of my top favorites is definitely The Grinch, the one with Jim Carrey. But Home Alone is also a classic!

Speaking of Home Alone, that's one of the movies you can see for free this holiday season. There are four different movies that will be shown for free and you can catch them all at the Chateau Theater in Downtown Rochester.

Free Christmas Movies at the Chateau Theater in Rochester

The movies will each be shown once and they're all shown on Sundays at 4 PM.

The first movie will be shown on Sunday, November 26th and that one is Home Alone.

Then on Sunday, December 3rd they'll be showing Jingle All the Way.

On Sunday, December 10th you can catch It's a Wonderful Life.

And on Sunday, December 17th they're showing The Grinch, the most recent animated one.

Concessions will also be available for purchase at each showing. Doors and concessions open at 3 PM, there's a story time with Mrs. Claus before the movie at 3:30 PM, and then the movie starts at 4 PM.
