Freezing Rain Advisory Issued for Rochester and Southeast Minnesota
The National Weather Service in LaCrosse posted this warning to commuters on its Facebook page: "Some slick travel tonight into Tuesday morning. Highest icing potential will be north of I-90 with accumulations of 1/10” to 2/10" possible. Mainly drizzle is expected across northeast Iowa into far southwest Wisconsin. Areas of dense fog are also likely tonight. If traveling tonight through Tuesday, slow down and use caution as road conditions and visibility could change rapidly."
Rochester and most of Southeast Minnesota is under a Freezing Rain Advisory which means that periods of freezing rain or drizzle will cause travel difficulties. If you are traveling late tonight or early tomorrow be prepared for slick roads.
