Friday’s Morning Commute Is Going To Be Awful Across Southeast Minnesota
I'm so ready for Spring. Unfortunately, Mother Nature isn't. You should plan on getting up early tomorrow to allow yourself extra time to reach your destination safely. Freezing rain and a couple inches of snow is expected to fall overnight. That wintry mix will create difficult travel conditions.
The National Weather Service in La Crosse says: Ready or not, more wintry weather is on the way. Look for snow and a wintry mix to work into the area very late this afternoon into tonight, with snow most likely across southeast Minnesota into western and central Wisconsin while a mix of sleet, freezing rain, snow, and just rain falls farther south. Regardless of precipitation type, your Friday morning commute will likely be impacted by slick road conditions.
We'll provide updated info on road conditions and any weather announcements tomorrow morning on the radio and here on our site.
