Friday’s Storm Kept Public Safety Workers Busy All Day
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol says Friday’s winter storm kept its troopers busy well into Friday evening dealing with accidents and mishaps around the entire state.
Through 9:30 PM, troopers had responded to 42 crashes, 77 vehicle spinouts, and four jackknifed semi-trucks. Only one injury was reported. Driving conditions were still poor Saturday morning and strong winds will impact motorists in open areas through the day.
The Iowa State Patrol was also busy dealing with accidents, spinouts, and other incidents. It shared a video of one of those incidents that is being shared around the country.

This shocking dash cam video was taken today from a delivery truck on I-80 in Western Iowa. AMCON Distributing driver, State Trooper, and occupants in the pickup truck were not seriously injured.
