Now is your chance to see all the hard work that’s gone into the off-season as your favorite boys in blue take on the Albert Lea Grizzlies this weekend.

Looking much like something you'd catch on ESPN for a Monday Night Football promo, here's the guys having fun with their own hype video for their first game of the season:

Spring has finally arrived and that means the return of amateur football in Rochester!

Your Med City Freeze officially open their second season Sunday evening at Mayo High School with a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.

The Freeze believe they have a very talented roster, and they are ready and anxious to play for their first SPFL (Southern Plains Football League) Championship, as well as the opportunity to compete in Kansas City at the Mid USA Gridiron Classic.

Much like last year, the players are all hoping for a sea of blue in the stands… but if you don’t have a blue shirt, they’ll have a ton of merchandise at the game for you to purchase.

Adult tickets will run at $6 a piece, while kids 13 and under get FREE admission. Plus for this first game, show your high school ID card and you can also get in for FREE!

“We have unfinished business to take care of from last year,” said Freeze running back Tim Nela, no doubt referring to the team's red hot 7-0 start before losing their final two games, including a playoff loss which ultimately ended a fantastic inaugural season.

With the forecast calling for temperatures in the low 60's, conditions look absolutely perfect for their first win of the season!
