The Best Places in Rochester, MN for an Unforgettable Girls’ Night Out
Every woman needs some girl time with her girl friends. I saw a study not too long ago that said something like every month, women should spend some quality time with just their girl friends because it's good for mental health. I believe it!
I've been thinking about how my girl friends and I need some girl time together, but I wanted to see what your ideas were.
Boy oh boy, are some of you on our Facebook Debby Downers!
'If you're spending a small fortune on alcohol'
'Nothing!'
'Stay home'
(Most of the negative comments came from men, by the way. Thank you so much for your contributions [SARCASIM]. Am I feeling spicy today? I guess 😂)

But there were even more of you who had some great ideas! I appreciate all of you!
So this list is for all of you who, like me, are looking to plan the perfect Ladies Night with your girl friends. Because, yes, there are actually fun things to do in Rochester.
(Also, many of these things can be done during the day if you'd rather do a Ladies Day Out. The name Ladies Night Out just rolls off the tongue better.)

DIY Brewery Tour
With so many great breweries in town, spend an afternoon or evening hitting up each brewery. Maybe do a flight at each and then rank which beers are your favorite!
Our breweries in town are Forager, Thesis, Little Thistle, Kinney Creek, and LTS.
Have a Hibachi Night
We've got two hibachi restaurants in Rochester: Zen Fusion and Jenpachi. Dinner and a show!
Wine Sampling
Head over to Salem Glen in town and do some wine sampling. You could be extra fancy and bring notebooks to write down your favorites.
Pickleball or Golf Simulator
There are a lot of outdoor pickleball courts, but at Chip Shots, you can reserve the courts in advance, plus their indoors. Perfect for winter! They also have a golf simulator plus food and drink, so you could spend quite a while there.
Karaoke Night
One of the spots in town that I know for sure offers karaoke is The Workshop on Fridays, 8:30 PM - 1 AM. Plus, with all of their food options and bar, you could spend a lot of time there.
Catch a Show
There are plenty of spots in town with live shows to see. You, of course, have the Civic Center, but there's also the Rochester Repertory Theater Company that puts on great shows. Maybe grab some dinner beforehand!
Axe Throwing
Try out axe throwing at Old School Entertainment. And if you want to continue the fun, they have tons of old-school arcade games that you can play for an unlimited amount of time for only $10.
Take an Art Class
Art Heads Emporium downtown offers painting classes all the time. Everyone has the same piece that they're working on with guidance from a teacher, but you get to put whatever spin you'd like on it!
Try One of These At Home!
If you're trying to save money, a lot of these you can try at home! Buy some cheap wine and do your own wine sampling. Grab some paint and canvas and watch a free painting class on YouTube. Or turn your living room into a karaoke bar.
