The area where the gunfire was reported is only a little over a block from the site where Alexander Weiss shot and killed 17-year-old Muhammed Rahim following a minor traffic crash in January 2018. His second trial on a second-degree murder charge stemming from the fatal shooting is winding down in Olmsted County Court and the case is expected to go to the jury in the first half of next week. Weiss’ first trial ended with a hung jury.
