Emotions were running high for Halsey during her headlining set at the Common Ground music festival in Lansing, Michigan Friday night (July 6), where the pop star broke down in tears on stage.

The pop star's teary emotional breakdown took place in the middle of her performance of "Sorry," the artist's piano ballad off hopeless fountain kingdom. Watch, below:

The emotional moment comes just days after the news of Halsey's split from ex-boyfriend and "Him & I" collaborator G-Eazy.

On Tuesday (July 3), the pop star shared the announcement of her and the rapper's breakup after one year of dating, writing in an Instagram Story, "I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some apart. I'm eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time."

Less than 24 hours after the announcement, fans began speculating that the rapper may have cheated on Halsey, pointing to a handful of cryptic (and some since-deleted) tweets from the pop-R&B singer.
