New Spooky Race Coming to Rochester this Fall

There's a new race coming to Rochester this fall and I'm SO excited about this one because it's on one of my favorite holidays!

It's called the Haunted Halfsy, yes, it will be on Halloween, and it's being put on by the same group behind the Med City Marathon.

New Half Marathon and 5k Race in Rochester, MN

The Haunted Halfsy will feature a half marathon, a relay half marathon, a 5k, and a kids 1k.

The races are in the morning, so don't worry, the kids will still be able to get out trick-or-treating in the evening. Obviously, costumes are HEAVILY encouraged! If you don't wear a costume to this race... I'll be disappointed.

Rochester, MN Halloween Race

It looks like the course map is not set yet, so keep an eye out for where the finish line festivities will take place. If you've been to the Med City Marathon, you know that the team always throws a fun party afterwards, so you can expect something similar for the Haunted Halfsy.

There's also super cute merch that you'll receive if you run, a like a crew neck sweatshirt, bag, and mug.

Registration is open now for all of the races, and there's an early bird discount happening through Monday, June 22nd for all but the Kids 1k run. Regular pricing for the races are as follows:

Half Marathon - $80.50
Relay Half Marathon - $128.20
5k - $48.70
Kids 1k - $6.30

Proceeds from the Haunted Halfsy will support local mental health organizations, like Aidan's Light and NAMI.
