Huge Minnesota Holiday Festival is Back After a Year Off
Plans for the holiday season are starting to be made and festivals are working on final plans. This even includes one Minnesota holiday festival that took a year off in 2023.
The festival has been around for many years despite COVID and the changes that they've made. But last year they surprised everyone by announcing it wouldn't be happening.

Holiday Festival Canceled in 2023
I wrote a story last year about the sad news. They had decided to cancel because "they weren't able to get enough funding to pull it off." Which is so sad! This festival has been a staple in Minneapolis for so many years.

WCCO had written that the festival "'received funding from sources like local government and major local companies, but it just was not enough'".
But never fear, the festival we're talking about is the ever-popular Holidazzle and it's back this holiday season!
Minneapolis Holidazzle is Back for 2024
When I heard they weren't doing Holidazzle last year I was a little concerned it would die off. But I'm glad I was wrong!
They made the exciting announcement yesterday.
There will be plenty of vendors to shop and eat at plus the usual creatures like the giant abominable snowman.
The Holidazzle will be at Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis from Wednesday, December 18th through Sunday, December 22nd.
Is the Holidazzle Parade Back for 2024?
A question lots of people have been asking is if the parade is also back for 2024. They got rid of the Holidazzle parade a few years ago, I think maybe even before COVID.
Unfortunately, this year's plans do not include the parade coming back.
