How Scotty’s Family Reacted to the News of Beyoncé Having Twins

In a surprise announcement Wednesday, the pop superstar revealed that she is expecting.

She and husband Jay Z are already parents to daughter Blue Ivy, but clearly the couple felt their empire could use a few more members.

And like most news of this magnitude, word spread fast across social media. So fast in fact, I read about it not through a news outlet or on twitter... but from my family group text message.

What's normally reserved for gossip and/or family related news suddenly turned into BREAKING NEWS... only no one really seemed to know, let alone care who my sister-in-law Mallory was talking about, including my father-in-law:

To be honest, I don't really care either. I mean good for them (Beyoncé & Jay Z) but does anybody really get overly excited about this outside of gossip mags and TMZ? I doubt it.

But hey, to each their own! Including my awesome sister-in-law. Because without you, none of this stuff would ever matter :)

Did I mention how awesome you are? Just making sure.
