Hy-Vee Adding Full Service Nail Bars Inside Grocery Stores

Hy-Vee has announced a partnership with The W Nail Bar to open several in-store nail salons by the end of 2021. Think about that for a second ladies - You'll be able to give your husband the grocery list and then sit back and get pampered while he does the shopping! The first nail salon opened inside the Bettendorf Hy-Vee in Bettendorf, Iowa, in early April. Randy Edeker, Hy-Vee’s chairman, CEO, and president, said: “Through our partnership with The W Nail Bar, we are revolutionizing the way customers shop in our stores by bringing engaging, experiential, and convenient services to our customers. We are proud to launch this partnership with a company that shares many of the same goals that we do at Hy-Vee, including innovative offerings and exceptional customer service.”

What is W Nail Bar?

A Hy-Vee press release explains, "The W Nail Bar is a full-service, all-natural nail bar that offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, nail art, waxing, tinting, and more. Full-service manicures are available starting at $35 and full-service pedicures are available starting at $55. Monthly memberships are also available."

Will the Rochester Hy-Vees Add a Nail Bar?

I reached out to the Hy-Vee corporate team and was told that there were plans to add at least one in Rochester but a timetable to open it hasn't been announced yet.

The W Nail Bar also has its own line of products which will be available in stores.
