Hy-Vee Opening Their Doors For Some Halloween Family Fun
I think it's great when businesses open their doors for something other than the norm.
Earlier this month we reported that Rochester Public Utilities is once again inviting customers inside to pick out pumpkins and grab goodie bags until they're gone throughout the month of October, and now Hy-Vee is following suit by doing something equally as fun for families in their grocery store.
Hy-Vee on West Circle Drive Northwest is throwing a kids Halloween party!
On Saturday, October 27 you and your kids can enjoy a fun coloring activity, plus cookie and mini pumpkin decorating from 1 – 3 PM. They'll also have a free bag for the first 100 kids trick or treating!
Last spring, they hosted a massive Easter egg hunt for the kiddos within their store and my daughter absolutely loved it. She talked about it forever and would even ask if we were doing it again every time we went grocery shopping for weeks afterwards.
You can bet I'll be bringing both my daughters there for some Halloween fun that Saturday.
