Carly Ross Found an Easy Way to Simplify Mealtimes During a Busy School Year in Southeast Minnesota
The school year is in full swing and that means schedules can get out of hand quickly. You're trying to balance your schedule, your kids' schedules, your partner's schedule, it's a little crazy! Sometimes that means dinner can fall by the wayside, but I discovered an easy way to simplify your meals during the school year. It's through a local company based in SE Minnesota.
I tried Infuzn Foods Heat N' Eat for the first time recently, and oh MAN, it was so good. I had heard it was super tasty, but the food truly did exceed my expectations. I especially enjoyed the spinach potato masala and Southwest Mango Quinoa when I last ordered.
It's also insanely easy, which is why Infuzn Foods Heat N' Eat line is perfect for your busy schedule.
How Long Does it Take to Prepare Infuzn Foods Heat N' Eat?
Each entrée needed to be microwaved for just a total of 60 seconds to a minute and 45 seconds depending on the food and your microwave. That's it! The meals are to be stored in the refrigerator upon delivery. You simply Heat and Eat at your leisure.
What Kind of Food Does Infuzn Foods Offer? And is it Actually Spicy?
Infuzn (pronounced In Fusion) is a fusion of Indian and global cuisine. The company draws from international cuisine and adds an Indian twist to their offerings. For example, I learned that quinoa isn't a grain typically used in Indian cooking, but Infuzn Foods has dishes with quinoa because it's a more familiar, healthy grain. And their food isn't spicy like people would assume with Indian food. It’s Minnesota nice with just the right amount of attitude, so no need to worry about your mouth catching on fire.
An important thing for me that I want to note is that everything is made fresh-to-order, so you're not getting some stuff that's been sitting around for a few days. It's a fresher meal delivery service! Plus one of the founders of Infuzn Foods is a food scientist, so you know it's going to be good quality food.
What Kind of Meal Delivery Does Infuzn Foods Offer? And Do They Deliver to Me?
Infuzn Foods offers its meal delivery service to 20 communities around southeast Minnesota. They deliver from Zumbrota to Chatfield and Dodge Center to Winona. You can see all of the communities they deliver to HERE.
There are multiple meal plan options available under their Heat N' Eat line. They have the Weekly Heat N' Eat Meal, the 4-Week Super Meal Plan, the 4-Week Super Duper Meal Plan, and the 4 Week Family Meal Plan. Prices vary by the meal plan and each meal plan gives you different amounts of food. For example, the 4 Week Family Meal Plan includes 10 8oz. Infuzn Entrees delivered every Sunday for 4 weeks for $180.
And the food is different every week! There is so much variety that you're spoiled with choices. From soups and chillis to good-for-you grains and rice and curry options, you’re always eating something new. You can check out what they have on the menu for the next few weeks HERE.
The food is honestly so delicious, I'm getting hungry writing this. All of their meals are vegetarian but you can also request them to be made vegan and/or gluten-free. I cannot recommend Infuzn Foods Heat N' Eat enough, it makes mealtimes just so much easier. Best of all, if you don't want to commit to a 4-week meal plan, then order A-la-Cart by Saturday at noon and your meal will be delivered fresh on Sunday.
