In the United States, missing children are reported in alarmingly high numbers. Each year, an estimated 460,000 children go missing, as per the FBI's National Crime Information Center.

The reasons for these disappearances vary, from runaways and family abductions to more distressing cases of non-family abductions and trafficking. Although the majority of these cases are resolved, often within hours or days, thousands of children remain missing each year.

How Many Kids Go Missing in Minnesota Each Year?

This year alone, 3,671 children have been reported missing in Minnesota, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Crime Apprehension. Thankfully, most of those missing child alerts have been resolved, bringing relief to families and friends. However, seven young people remain unaccounted for, leaving loved ones with unanswered questions and a void in their lives.
