
Skiing Mishap Claimed Life of Southern Minnesota Teenager
Mankato, MN (KROC-AM News) - An online fundraiser has been launched to benefit the family of a southern Minnesota high school student who died last weekend in a skiing accident.
The GoFundMe website says the tragic incident that claimed the life of Mankato East High School freshman Joshya Juberian occurred on January 18. It states that the fund was created "to help with the unexpected expenses the family is facing during this difficult time."

According to the Mankato Free Press, the teenager's grandmother reported that he was skiing with friends on Mount Kato when he was fatally injured. No other details have been released.
Mount Kato is located on the southwest edge of Mankato. The businesses website says it offers 19 trails for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing with ski lift chairs and conveyor lifts.
