If the recent snowfall and bitterly cold moments didn't give it way, winter is fully here and things are only likely to get snowier and colder before it's all said and done.

However, as prepared as we think we are in Minnesota, it's easy to forget that there may be things in our garage that are okay for a brief blast of winter weather but should not be left there all winter or they could get damaged or worse, cause damage to your home.

Before this winter continues, you should double-check your garage to ensure that these items are out and stored somewhere warmer. Trust me, I learned that the hard way when I left an extra fridge in my garage all winter at our cabin.
