Another Restaurant Abruptly Closes Locations Nationwide
It seems like every time I open my phone, I learn about a new business that is closing locations or even closing for good.
The same thing happened this morning when I saw that a popular Italian chain was closing locations. It's not Olive Garden so don't freak out!
However, Olive Garden is upping their menu prices slowly over the next few months, just like so many other places.
In this instance, the popular Italian chain is Buca di Beppo, which has a handful of Minnesota locations. They are known for their family style dining, with big portions made to share of delicious pasta favorites.
Buca di Beppo has been forced to close thirteen restaurants across the country, with locations in California, New York and Michigan, citing the pandemic as the reason for the shutdowns.

These closures led many to worry about the future of the chain and other locations, especially after it was revealed Monday (August 5th) that the chain has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The good news is that in the same breath, they state that they will be 'restructuring' the current locations that made it through the latest round of closures.
Buca di Beppo has four Minnesota locations, in Maple Grove, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Eden Prairie. None of those are in danger of closing at this point, which is good news.

The chain closed their last Wisconsin location back in 2018, so Wisconsin won't be impacted by these closures. Pasta sounds good right about now!
