
Weather Analyst Predicts First Accumulating Snow For Minnesota
It might not feel like it at the moment but fall is definitely in the air! We've had our cool days recently but overall, it's still pretty pleasant outside.
September is always interesting when it comes to the weather. Sometimes it is a warm month and other times winter-type weather starts creeping in.

At the time of writing, we are looking at a little warmup into the 80s this week so we are in for some smooth sailing for the foreseeable future.
However, we are all anxiously anticipating our first accumulating snow of the season. This isn't a dusting or a few snowflakes. This is snow that actually sticks - and now we have insight into when we may see it in Duluth.
Old Farmer's Almanac Predicts Snow In September
At the beginning of August, I visited the Old Farmer's Almanac to see what they were predicting for that month and September, as they share their outlooks two months in advance.

At that time, they had light snow in the forecast for September 20th through the 27th. We will have to wait and see how this pans out but it's worth mentioning that they are also predicting a snowy October!
Weather Analyst Forecasts First Accumulating Snow Of The Season
A famous forecaster who goes by Midwest Weather on Facebook shared his thoughts on when our region could see the first inch of snow! According to his forecast, we can expect it at some point throughout the second half of October.

It looks like we still have about a month left of this mild weather we've been enjoying as of late. However, as long as it is not a huge snowstorm, I don't mind a little bit of snow at all.
