Formula One racing continues to grow in popularity in the United States, and fans of the high speed sport will get a chance to experience the power of F1 in a new event coming to Minnesota this fall.

Back in the late 90s, Minneapolis was home to the Grand Prix of Minnesota, that race was not Formula One, but had plenty of cars at high speed cruising around a street track designed around the Metrodome. This event will bring that excitement back to the streets of Minneapolis with the Red Bull Showrun.

This event has made several stops around the United States in the last several years, and will make a stop in Downtown Minneapolis on Saturday, September 14th and will feature an exhibition from legendary Formula One driver David Coulthard and the RB7 F1 car on a temporary custom-built track on South 4th Street.

The Red Bull Showrun is not a race, but an opportunity for fans to experience the sights and sounds of Formula One racing up close and personal, with high speed runs, donuts, burnouts and more.
