Nicolas Cage Spotted At Stillwater Malt Shop – What He’s Been Up To While In Minnesota
We have another Nicolas Cage sighting in Minnesota.
If you didn't hear the news last week, the big-name actor was spotted at a handful of Twin Cities area attractions, including the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, Paisley Park, and a Minneapolis restaurant.
He's not just enjoying a fall getaway to Minnesota, though he seems to be making the most of his free time while he's here.
Speaking of which, his latest free-time sighting was at the Stillwater eatery Leo's Grill & Malt Shop, which is right on Main Street, not far from the old lift bridge in town.

The owner of Leo's shared a social media post yesterday (October 13) that mentioned Cage was at the shop on Monday. While he was there, he ordered a chocolate malt. Good choice, Mr. Cage. Good choice.
The staff said they did their best to serve him just like any other customer, including the "extras in the tin" that the shop is famous for.
The staff thanked Nic for his visit, welcoming him back, or even offering to deliver a malt or food to "avoid the crowds".
Cage has been in the Stillwater area for the past few weeks for the filming of a post-apocalyptic action movie called "Parrish", in which he is starring. The film is set 30 years after a nuclear apocalypse, where he plays a survivor faced with a choice to help a stranger.

Production on the movie started the week of September 21, but no details about a filming timeline or potential release date have been revealed yet. You can read more about the movie project here.
