‘This Means War’ Josh Duhamel Has A Beaver Problem
When you want to get away from it all, it can be frustrating when, instead of taking time to enjoy being far from your problems, you end up having to problem-solve something else. Minnesota sports fan and Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel has realized this as a beaver has moved in next door to his cabin.
'This Means War'
Josh Duhamel recently shared a reel on social media showing beaver damage to young saplings. In the process of showing us the damage (he uses some adult language in the video), he declares war on the aquatic mammal.
I'm going to assume this video was taken at his "apocalypse" cabin in Minnesota, given the lake we see. Plenty of people in the comments were offering Josh some free advice on how to handle the prolific dam builders.
It's the end of the video that got me, rather than a beaver, you see a gopher as you see at U of M football games.
What Can You Do About Nuisance Beavers In Minnesota?
What can you do about nuisance beavers in Minnesota? You can't eat 'em, at least yet.
Under Minnesota Statute 97B.655, landowners, occupants, or their agents can shoot or trap beavers without a license. Poisoning, however, is strictly prohibited.

If an authorized agent (like a neighbor or hired trapper) is doing the removal, they must secure a permit from the DNR.
You can learn more about what is allowed and what isn't with nuisance beavers through the Minnesota DNR website, here.
