Theilman, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the 12-year-old boy killed in a Wabasha County snowmobiling accident Sunday afternoon.

The boy’s name is Blaze Himle. The preliminary investigation indicates he was operating a snowmobile on private property in rural Theilman, which is about 35 miles northeast of Rochester, when the sled went into a wooded area and collided with a tree.

The crash was reported shortly after 1 p.m. First responders arrived and administered care but the boy died at the scene.
