
Two Found Dead in Early Morning Minnesota House Fire
Outing MN, (KROC-AM News) - An early morning house fire in north-central Minnesota has claimed two lives.
Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk says deputies responded just before 2:45 a.m. to a report of a structure fire at a property on Shady Lane Northeast in the town of Outing, located about 20 miles northeast of Brainerd.
Sheriff Welk says emergency responders found the home engulfed in flames when they arrived. While firefighting efforts were underway, two deceased victims were found inside the house.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has been asked to conduct autopsies and confirm positive identifications. The names of the victims have not been released.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Crooked Lake Fire Department, the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
