Rochester Traffic Stop Leads to Cocaine & Stolen Gun Seizure
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- An early morning traffic stop led to the seizure of stolen guns in Rochester on Monday.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communication Coordinator Amanda Grayson. The traffic stop occurred around 2:10 Monday morning.
Grayson says officers stopped a vehicle for a license plate violation in the 300 block of 4th Ave SW.
Upon approaching the vehicle, police reported detecting an alcoholic odor and seeing an alcoholic beverage inside of the vehicle. The discovery triggered a search.
Cocaine, Stolen Guns Found During Rochester, MN Traffic Stop & Vehicle Search
The search led to the discovery of a stolen handgun and cocaine on one of the passengers, identified as 25-year-old Alonzo Davila of Minneapolis, according to Grayson.
The police report does not say how much cocaine was found. Another passenger, identified as 19-year-old Marice Gill of St. Paul, also had a stolen handgun at the time of the search, Grayson said.
Both individuals were taken to the Olmsted County Jail. They’re expected to face multiple felony charges, police say.
The driver of the vehicle was not identified.
