
28-Year-Old Woman Arrested For Traffic Death of Infant at Twin Cities Interchange
Maplewood, MN (MinnesotaNow)- An infant was killed in an alcohol-involved crash at an interchange in the Twin Cities Saturday.

He was riding in a vehicle occupied by four other people. Two of the crash survivors are children.
The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle fatality in Maplewood shortly before 6:30 p.m. All but one of the occupants are from St. Paul.

1-Year-Old Boy Killed in Rollover Crash at Hwy. 36/61 Interchange in Maplewood, 28-year-Old Driver Arrested
The deadly crash occurred at the Hwy. 36 and Hwy. 61 interchange. An SUV had exited eastbound Hwy. 36 for southbound Hwy. 61 at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, the State Patrol says.
The vehicle then left the off-ramp, rolled and came to rest upside down in the pond, according to the state crash report. Emergency responders found the vehicle submerged in 1-2 feet of water.
The State Patrol says the infant boy was underneath the vehicle.
First responders extricated the boy and pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the State Patrol. He has been identified as one-year-old Revon Melvin Anthony Todd of St. Paul.
28-year-old Rachale Francine Peloquin was identified as the driver. She and the four other passengers, identified as six-year-old Devon Todd, five-year-old Drevon Todd and 32-year-old Kenneth Alex Williams Jr. of Mounds View, were transported to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The state crash report indicates Peloquin had alcohol in her system. The infant was the only occupant confirmed to be buckled up, according to the State Patrol.
Ramsey County Jail records indicate Peloquin was booked into jail shortly before midnight Saturday night.
