Ramsey, MN (KROC-AM News) - A motorcyclist without a helmet was the victim of a crash involving a motorcycle and a U-Haul truck yesterday in a northern Twin Cities suburb.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the Ramsey Police and Fire Departments responded around 9:30 a.m. to report of a collision involving a U-Haul truck and a motorcycle in the City of Ramsey. A preliminary report indicates the crash occurred when the driver of the U-Haul truck attempted to make a U-turn and collided with a motorcycle headed in the same direction.

The adult male driving the motorcycle was severely injured and despite the efforts of witnesses to the crash and emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the truck was not hurt.

The name of the victim and the other driver have not been released. The crash remains under investigation by the Ramsey Police Department, the State Patrol, the Midwest Medical examiners Office, and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
