Minnesota Man Dead After Crashing at Rural Intersection
Carlton, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorist lost his life after crashing at a rural eastern Minnesota intersection on Thursday.

One vehicle was involved in the fatality. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 9 a.m.
The deadly single-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 210 and Carlton County Rd. 5, which is just over five miles southwest of Cloquet.
An SUV traveling east entered the westbound lane at the intersection. It then struck an embankment after entering the ditch on the north side of the road, according to the state crash report.
A 69-year-old man from Sawyer, MN was driving the SUV. Officials plan to release his name and more information regarding the traffic death on Friday afternoon.
The road was wet at the time of the deadly crash, the state report says.
