Theilman, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that occurred Friday afternoon in Wabasha County.

The preliminary crash report indicates a motorcyclist was headed west on Highway 60 when he lost control and collided with an eastbound pickup truck. The crash was reported shortly after 2 PM near the junction with Wabasha County Road 13, approximately 2 miles north of Theilman and 8 miles west of Wabasha.

The State Patrol identified the victim as 43-year-old Michael Lee Kotlarz of Arcadia Wisconsin.

There were two people in the pickup truck, a 65-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman from Theilman. The State Patrol says they were not injured.

The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Police Department, and Lake City Fire and Ambulance also responded to the incident.
