Grayson says responding officers encountered two men yelling at each other in a parking lot in the 1700 block of 8 1/2 St. Southeast.
The police report says officers identified 40-year-old Glenn Mitchell as the individual who was reported to have made the threat that involved the use of a shotgun.
Police then executed a search warrant at Mitchell’s home and seized a shotgun, Grayson says. Mitchell was then arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and threats of violence.
Mitchell was formally charged Tuesday with second-degree assault and terroristic threats. His conditional bail was set at $10,000.
