
Southeast Minnesota Woman Injured After Crashing into Tree
Hokah, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorist was injured after crashing into a tree along a southeast Minnesota highway Monday morning.

Limited information about the crash is available as of Monday morning. One vehicle with one occupant was involved in the crash.
The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash in Houston County around 7:15 a.m.

Caledonia Woman Hurt After Crashing into Tree Along Hwy. 44 in Houston County, MN
The crash happened at the intersection of Hwy. 44 and Butterfield Valley Rd in Hokah, which is about 13 miles northeast of Caledonia.
A SUV was traveling east on Hwy. 44 when it crossed the centerline, entered the two-lane highway’s westbound lane, went into the ditch and crashed into a tree, the state crash report says.
The State Patrol is describing the driver as a 54-year-old Caledonia woman. Her name has not been released.
Information regarding the extent of her injuries is not available. Authorities plan to release more information about the crash late Monday night.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Hokah Fire Department and Tri State Ambulance also responded to the crash.
